This is the building we are knocking down to build a bigger and better one that will fit 2 classrooms.
One of the classrooms in the main building. Hopefully if everyone donates a couple of reading books we can put something on those shelves...
The ceilings need to be reinforced otherwise looters try to break in through the roof.
As do the gutters...
This is Tanya and the Headmaster Mr. Muhlubi Nquvamba.
Muhlubi was a pupil at the school and the Headmistress who taught him is now his Deputy.
Myles took this photo when he visited the school in March...
They will need more of these for the new classroom.
These are the old blackboards that they have had since 1961.
And the new ones we are hoping to be able to donate to the main school.
We are also going to repair some of the windows in the main building, that are a safety hazzard.
They were recently donated a computer room from a similar project. To keep out looters all the windows have bars and the door opens into a cage which is then unlocked.
Myles and the headmaster look around the school grounds were we are going to build the new school and jungle gym.
This is the storeroom outside. Mr Nquvamba explained that the younger children don't go near here.
